Vojtěch Kalník

The  Czech  republic

Vojtěch Kalník got into street art and graffiti already during elementary school in Ostrava's Havířov, he founded his "crew" in high school with his classmates and since then it has not let him sketching, inventing fonts and stickers, tagging and painting. In his further development, he was influenced by two strong personalities of the Czech scene, Pasta Oner and Josef Rataj. He sought inspiration for his "old school" work Dzestr for Off the Wall on the tagged walls of the New York subway, in the colorouls of modern pop art and the facial expression of his colleague from the barber shop.
